cash flow

When I look at this picture, a lot of things stand out at me. Owning a construction company for many years, I realize the importance of “cash flow.” If I had a choice of a onetime payment of $200,000 at the end of the year or $175,000 spread out through 52 weeks, then I would choose the second every time. The “cash flow” was the lifeline of my business.

The second thing that jumps off the page at me is “taxes.” As a business owner taxes are always on our minds. This year’s, last year’s, and even next year’s. It is a constant reminder that a lot of w2 employees take for granted. Planning for taxes is a real job for a business owner.

Business owners are constantly solving complex issues. Sometimes they have to use cutting edge technology. Business owners are always learning something new to stay ahead of the competition.  Business owners are thinking about employees and benefits, retirement for those we care about, and also What is our “exit Strategy?” How does interest effect my business. What about inflation?

What we do as an organization is help business owners make these tough decisions. They do not have to be an expert at retirement plans, or employee benefits. That is what our team does. We use a road map called “The Four Pillars.”

We can look at complicated financial problems and make educated decisions with a purpose. We take a macro approach, and they implement micro solutions. Doing this, you get an overall strategy with the absolute best products. The best of both worlds. You wouldn’t put Formula One tires on a Cadillac. The products have to work seamlessly together to fit your company’s overall objective.
